The LounGe is a place where the Bible is taught in such a way that it reaches a world that doesn't believe, as well as teaches and unites those who do. It’s a venue where lives are changed because truth is faithfully preserved, and love is practically shown through service and relationships.

Dig-Deeper Sessions

Picture

Join us in our Dig-Deeper session as we continue our study in the gospel of Mark. Jesus is the greatest - God incarnate, our Messiah, and he entered history as a servant. This is the message of Mark. Written to encourage Roman Christians & to prove beyond a doubt that Jesus was the Messiah.

Mark presents a rapid succession of vivid pictures of Jesus in action, his true identity revealed by what he does, not necessarily by what he says. It is Jesus on the move.

Attendance numbers have never been a goal of the LounGe. We have never pushed for gimmicks or strategies to add to our numbers. We want to teach the Bible faithfully and thoroughly, and that doesn’t always lend itself to popularity.

With this type of ministry philosophy, the tendency is to completely forsake any effort to invite people to the LounGe – because we’re not about numbers. This is not being faithful either, so we have to find a balance.

Check out a new featured article:  A Friend of God?

Most of us have probably heard the term "friend of God" used around the church and various ministries. You see it more around contemporary church atmospheres. Christians uses it and attach a great deal of approval with it because they feel that it's something special- to be "a friend of God". And it is true that there are a few examples where the Bible speaks of people being called God's friends, such as Abraham and Moses. Even, Jesus called his disciples friends and no longer servants. So in some sense it is acceptable to handle that term- but very carefully. I think people feel such a longing to get close to God that they will attach themselves with anything that would give them even the feeling of being close to God.
